EduKit helps schools raise attainment through an innovative online site that matches pupils to relevant personal development and supplementary education programmes run by over 500 registered providers. EduKit then measures pupil progress and reports on Pupil premium spend and outcomes through an online dashboard.
EduKit received a 2014 Department of Education Award for Innovation and is a 2015 Big Venture Challenge award winner.
What they needed
Nathalie Richards, the founder, was very engaged in the Big Venture Challenge programme from the outset, making very regular contact and utilising all the advice, ideas and connections she could. Her main needs have been human resources - in particular a senior leadership team.
What we did
After speaking to Nathalie about her needs and who she was looking for, one of our Networking Managers connected Edukit to some senior leadership candidates. One of them became COO of Edukit and has had a significant impact in developing the business and securing their investment. Since then, Edukit has also been connected to more staff members, including a Schools Sales Manager and a Marketing Manager who now works within her core team.
What they said
"Mona helped me to my new COO quickly which has really helped us take things to the next level. She has great instincts and had spotted that we'd be a good fit despite my initial scepticism - the rest is history! Mona's a great person to have in your corner as she's an excellent networker and very focused and effective." – Nathalie Richards, Director, Edukit
