Shaftesbury Partnership’s Chris Mould has contributed an essay to a new book launched this week: Making Good: The Future of the Voluntary Sector.
The essays cover a wide range of topics, pointing to a new direction for the sector. The other contributors to the book included Sir Bert Massie, Sir Stephen Bubb, Paul Farmer, Cathy Pharaoh and Dan Corry, collectively bringing a wide variety of viewpoints and a serious track record in the sector.
Chris’ essay looks at the independence of the voluntary sector, drawing widely on his experience as Chair of the Trussell Trust and its expanding network of foodbanks. A shortened version of Chris’ essay was published as a blog in Civil Society.
