We were very pleased to welcome Isabelle de Morlhon into the team in January. Isabelle is an Associate at On Purpose, the one-year leadership programme for professionals who want to transition to a career in social enterprise. After graduating from HEC Paris business school she spent the last 6 years working in brand management for Procter & Gamble, where she developed her marketing expertise working on consumer brands such as Pampers.
Isabelle has been supporting the work on our pilot venture Nurse First, is enabling the team to develop their marketing skills and apply them to their ventures, and is looking at branding and communications for the Shaftesbury Partnership. This transfer of private sector skills and rigour is an asset for our organisation, and key to the way we operate.
Isabelle says: “I am delighted to have joined the Shaftesbury Partnership, and could not have hoped for a better organisation to transition into the social sector. I am impressed by the quality of people, and their passion for creating and implementing social reforms which will have a massive impact in the UK. When I attended Oxford Jam I realised just how much value I can bring to the sector with my marketing skills. I strongly believe that we need more individuals with business backgrounds to join the social enterprise sector, and bring their business minds to help the sector scale.”
